Bringing the learning home (Australian Learning & Teaching Council)

Hi this is my first post, just wanted to say that the nerves have started to kick in and I am always thinking of my trip now that Uni is finished. Is everyone else the same?

Yes – I would anticipate lots of students are in the exact position!!! Leaving the “safe and known” and then transitioning into unknown territory is very daunting. Let us know how you cope with this “novel” experience.

Talk about it! I had 15 days to wait until the marks came out to be sure that I am allowed to go, then I got a TF in a subject I was not expecting. Then it turned out it was an administration error and I had passed, so I can go again. Now the nerves are building up from the beginning again.

The nervous anticipation of waiting for uni marks to come out was the worst. I knew I wouldn’t fail a subject but the two evil words ‘WHAT IF’ still lingered at the back of my head. So glad that its over, now the exciting wait until departure.
